These three chicas...
made these three nenas....
I want to share the third picture just for funnsies. It was taken hmmm...at least 6 years ago at the John Mayer concert. We had paid 30 bucks or so to hang out in the grass area and enjoy his tunes but on a bathroom break one of his band members approached us and gave us 4 tickets to the 10th row. We were thrilled!!!!!

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend, Kevin and I are on vacay since the school district we work for is on a two week break. It's been nice sleeping in a bit, doing family fun stuff, cooking a bit more, having more time to exercise, doing a little more knitting and even some sewing.
Vale is 6 1/2 months and more active than ever. She can sit on her own now for 30 seconds or so at a time. She reaches for everything, she's trying to use her legs to move while on her belly, she sticks everything in her mouth, smiles at everyone, eats spinach, pears, apples, carrots, sweet potatoes, bananas, winter squash.
While preparing her breakfast the other day I diverted my eyes away from her for 10 seconds and in this time she managed to roll her way over to the coffee table and take out all my mail...I couldn't help but laugh..I'm sure this is just the beginning of all the disarray she's gonna cause in the apartment.
