We heart farmers market

Who here doesn't like free food samples, good music, lots of sunshine, babies in sun hats and dogs of every make and model...???? I'm pretty sure you're looking around right now to see who raised their hand right...??? I know I am! :) Well, this little family can't go to enough farmers markets in a week, but that sure doesn't keep us from trying again the following week. Sometimes we go to the farmers market in little Italy (my fav) and others we go to the Hillcrest (Kevin's fav) we also never miss the Thursday chula vista one right down the street. On occasion the friday Imperial Beach fm is visited and hopefully this summer we'll add the wednesday ocean beach fm to out repertoire! I love all the organic produce and colorful flowers, Kevin loves the coffee and the bread, Vale just wants to sample everything.

Not to hate on Vale, but seriously girl, what's up with your expression?? Maybe she though "cheese" meant "make a dog with rabies face"....sorry V, te quiero! Side note...Is Kevin looking like a total papacito or what..?? ( more on this side note when I get to our super fun and baby free day date blog...tomorrow perhaps! )

baby armpit folds... I wanna burry my face in them!

I helped my niece and nephew make maracas at the kids zone. I did this not JUST because I'm a super cool aunt, but also because I love my sister and the thought of her hearing her kids play those things all the way home made me all giddy inside.

Lately I've been obsessing over these cold and delicious coconuts. The water is heavenly and they are young so the coconut meat is tender and sweet! yum!

This was on a different Sunday but it's still the Hillcrest fm..We wouldn't dare mix our families, oh the rivalry, the competition, the excitement, who would win Vale's affection? tun tun tuuun!

baby bans, I'm sure someone made this joke but since it hasn't been made on the blog it is all mine! MWAHAHA!

I'm about to hit publish when I suddenly remember I have a pic of Kevin holding six month old Vale at fm, and he looks...well, let me just upload it and then I'll give you my critique.

like a criminal who just got out and doesn't want to break his tough guy image so he holds the baby in a cool and totally not thought out way, but then he realizes people (or at least me) are looking so he kisses the baby to assure the crowd (me) that he's really a soft soul who adores his child.
