Valentina's very first birthday bash

On Saturday we celebrated the first birthday of our little girl Vale. We couldn't have been more ecstatic about celebrating such an important milestone with all our family and friends. The location was decorated and setup marvoulusly by Mr. K himself, the super talented Ryan Santos and Stephen Alberts where behind the camera documenting everything, add to that a taquero, cake, candy, chocolate fountain, live music by tudamax, a jumper, a DIY photobooth and scavenger hunt for the kiddos and we had ourselves a real fiesta!

cheering to get that candy

running for those clues

Vale had her very own cake but seeing as she doesn't have much cake eating experience she went straight for the decorative all too familiar strawberry and was very content eating just that....until a minute later when the frosting was discovered! yum!

The photobooth was a smash hit! Kids and adults alike got their silly on to be a part of Vale's b-day scrapbook, good work tita Kristin!

leave it to tudamax and the maxicans to bring the beat, they were awesome as always, I even saw people dancing!

my dear friend Blanca who has an AMAZING voice serenaded Vale with "Las maƱanitas" thanks girl, I know you don't sing for just anyone :)

as the party came to an end and the clean up party began we took one last family photo under the pretty lights.

bubbles in our faces!

Gift opening had to wait until most of the cleaning was done, but Vale and I cheated and found Clifford! yeahy for red dogs, she loooved him!

thanks to everyone who came and to everyone who helped make Vale's b-day party a success!

p.s. Vale's b-day is the 29th, this Thursday, we're planning on hanging out in the apt. Kevin is gonna make her delicious homemade pizza and maybe even some cake, this will be her third cake encounter, lets see how she does :)
